Nestled on the edge of South Kuta Beach, my recent stay at the Patra was a delightful escape, particularly for a foodie like me. With the hotel's stylish ambience, it felt like the ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring. One of the highlights was dining at their floating café, surrounded by vibrant tropical flowers. The Indonesian cuisine was a delightful surprise. I indulged in a romantic candlelit dinner-my companion was a bottle of local sparkling wine. The setting was perfect for savoring delicious local dishes while reflecting on the day's adventures. Breakfast each morning was ample, with a plethora of options. I appreciated their attention to detail; from the fresh fruits to Indonesian specialties, it set a welcoming tone for the day ahead. A special shoutout to the chef for the exquisite sushi and sashimi I tried at dinner-definitely a testimony to their culinary innovation. While the overarching property may echo a touch of nostalgia, the comfort of my villa, combined with the attentive service, kept me content. With proximity to the beach and sprawling gardens for those leisurely strolls, the Patra is a haven, beckoning to all gastronomic voyagers.
